You have no idea how terrified I was when my site went down. It went down late afternoon of the 30th of April and I just got a hold of it late morning today.

I have a web designer and my site is one of the sites under his domain. All sites was shut off or got suspended including mine due to one site went against the terms of service. I have no idea what it meant.

On the day it went down I spoke to my web designer and he told me he was working on it. I waited and waited but nothing happened.

I needed my site back. ASAP. I cannot afford to shut it off (not even for a few hours) cos I get all my inquiries of my Willow Jewelry in my site. All my inquires were on hold.

When I woke up this morning and found out that it was still not up I called my web designer. His phone was off.

I took the bull by its horn.

I went direct and contacted the host of the domain. They only entertain thru chat. I didn’t know if they will entertain me since the domain is not under my name. But I tried anyway.

All I needed to do was pay $59 so they can clean up and remove the viruses. Apparently they have been emailing my web designer about the malicious viruses but it was not address. So they had to suspend the domain. All the sites under his domain got suspended.

I paid the amount and I got my site back sparkling clean in less than 5 minutes. Not only my site but all sites under his domain is up and running now.

When you’re put in a situation like this not only will you learn something from it but it will also exercise your patience you never thought you had.

I’m just glad I’m back.
