Remember sometime last month when I went to True Value and I saw this cart with 2 set of drawers? That came home with me to use as my makeup organizer.
This is how it looks like now:
I updated my makeup organizer a few weeks ago.
Every time I put on my makeup, Junabeth (our house girl that is assigned in our rooms) prepares my makeup. What she does is while I am in the shower she wheels this cart in front of the window in my room (for natural light) and set up my makeup station. Beside this cart, she puts a table with a big mirror, a box of tissue paper, wipes, and my buco juice.
These are the makeup that I use on a daily basis (I don’t use everything inside this cart but the ones that I will choose from).
My makeup storage is in a big cabinet. The ones that I have not used yet and the ones that I have used already.
Let’s start with what’s on the very the top.
My makeup brushes, my hand mirror, and some items that I use before I apply my makeup
La Roche-Posay Thermal water, Evian Natural mineral water, La Mer The Mist, Aura Cacia Tea Tree oil (for my break outs), Bio derma face primer, Andalou facial oil, MAC lip therapy, The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Body oil (which I haven’t use yet)
ColourPop Liquid Lipsticks, NYX Eye Crayons, Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks, NARS Eye Pencils, Chanel Stylo Yeux, and Ben Nye Translucent Powder
La Roche-Posay BB Creme, Avène Thermal Spring Water, Avène sunblock
Chanel Translucent powders and The Body Shop Honeycomb Lip Balm
Foundations (the ones I am currently using), concealers, makeup base, illuminators, primers
Eye makeup palettes:
Makeup Revolution palettes, Too Faced palettes, and MAC singles
Too Faced Chocolate BonBons
Too Faced Sweet Peach
Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in the shade All About the Bronze (this is a blush and bronzer palette but I use this for my eyes to deepen my eye crease)
Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette
mascaras, mascara primers, eyeliners, eyebrow pencils, gel eyebrows
more lipsticks, Q-tips (for makeup clean up), an old Chanel powder case (I use the mirror inside the case)
L’Oreal Infallible Foundation, The Body Shop Darkening Adjusting Drops, The Body Shop Lightening Adjusting Drops, The Body Shop Insta Glow cc cream in the shade Bright Glow, The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter, and some face primers
Blushes & bronzers
falsies, DUO glue (for falsies), scotch tape, eyelash curlers, an old Chanel powder puff, more Q-tips (stock)
eye pencil sharpeners in all sizes, hair clips, eyebrow tweezers
I do it this way so everything is within my reach (I don’t have to stand up anymore). I change the contents of this cart twice a month ‘cos I rotate my makeup.
I hope I am able to give you tips and make your life easy.
