I went out to do some errands this morning and I was surprised to see Christmas decorations every where. Come on. Seriously? Mid September? Christmas decorations? Christmas carols? Puleeese.
Come on guys. Let’s not over commercialize the one holiday that I love. It takes out the authenticity of it. It destroys the meaning of what it really is.
I actually felt a twitch in my heart when I saw the Christmas decorations. Christmas for me is so far away yet. And I don’t mean literally. It is really so far away for me emotionally.
I need to finish interior decorating Shang. I need to go visit Mom and Dad in October (I miss them so much). I need to go to Hawaii and watch Bruno Mars concert in November. I need to finalize my dress for Vinny’s wedding before December. I need to plan our family vacation in December, etc., etc. There’s a whole lot of things for me to do before we reach Christmas. Yet.
So, please. Let’s not hurry it up. Give me space and time.
