One thing I really love about my followers is that they always look for me if I don’t post for over a week.

I feel the love. Honest.

Some of you here know that I got sick last week. Actually, 4 days after I got back from Cebu I caught the damn virus that has been going around. The day I left Cebu Mom caught it too. In fact, she was the first one that got sick (she’s okay now).

The common cold now is on a different level. I remember Claudia went inside my room and when she saw me she told me, “mom, you look like you’re dying!” and I replied, “it’s because I am dying.”

I’m telling you I really felt like I was dying. It took me one week to recuperate. I am okay now.

And that my friend is the reason why I haven’t posted.

I miss you guys too.

I don’t know if I should talk about this or not. But this news shook the whole world. I am talking about the death of Kate Spade. The only thing I can say about it is, Kate is in the same age as we are (at least most of us)(45-55) and we women who are in this age range are all going through something. 2 weeks ago, I was talking to 2 of my friends (Jing and Marivic)(different occasions) and I told them that there’s no one I know who is not going through something. All of us. No one is exempted. Be it about relationships, financial, family, etc. And that is because we are menopausing. Everything is magnified. And it is important that the people around us should understand what we are going through. There is always something that we are going through. This is the age and we are in that age. Good news is this will pass.

Kate is not an exemption. And she was not strong enough to let it pass. #RIPKATESPADE

In other news.

I get a lot of questions on how I apply my make up this summer and what products do I use. Apparently, they like my natural look. So, I promise them I’d write about it.

First thing I did when I got well was take a picture of my natural look makeup.

Products used:

Foundation

Chanel Les Beiges Multi-action All-in-one Healthy Glow Cream in the shade N0. 20

This Chanel’s BB Cream. First time I used this I hated it. I did not know how to use it. It just sits on my face and won’t blend. I thought it was just me. But the same thing happened to my friend Jing. She didn’t like it too. So, I stopped using it. A few weeks ago, I gave it another try ’cause I really want to like it. This time I use a damp beauty blender.

And OMG, I super love it now. It has a very good finish and it glows from within. I have been using this nonstop ever since I started using it again.

If you like your foundation to be full coverage this is not for you. This is light to medium coverage.

Concealer

Chanel Correcteur Perfection Concealer in the shade 10

I use this as an under eye brightener and also to cover my blemishes and spots.

Eye Makeup

MAC Groundwork Pro Longwear Paint Pot

This is the only eye make I use (during summer) and nothing else. I apply this all over my eyelid and blend it well. I use this also in my lower eyelash.

NARS Velvet Eye Shadow Stick in the shade Dark Angel

I use this as an eyeliner and smudge it for a soft smokey eye effect and to give depth to my eyes

Eyebrow Pencil

Chanel Stylo Sourcils waterproof in Blond Tendre

Since it’s summer and I sweat a lot this is very good since it’s waterproof. Your eyebrows won’t budge! And this is why I super like this.

Bronzer

Soleil Tan de Chanel

This is my no. 1 favorite bronzer of all time. I apply this all over my face, especially across my nose up to my cheeks for a summer tan look. And also my forehead and my temple.

Marc Jacobs 102 Tantric Omega Bronze

This is a bronzer but I use this to contour my cheeks, my nose, and my jawline. I also use this to set my Soleil de Tan.

Chanel Jumbo Lip Crayon in N0. 1 Nude

I just recently purchase this maybe a month ago. And my friend Bettina Veloso bought and tried it also. She messaged me right away and told me she super loves it!

One of the few lip crayons that I love! So creamy and glossy (but not sticky). I have been using this a lot lately.

False Eyelashes

DUP Eyelashes

This is my favorite eyelashes. It looks so natural you won’t even notice that I am using falsies. I buy this brand in Japan. Every time we go to Japan I stock up on this. But someone told me that this brand is available at Watson’s. I haven’t check Watson’s yet tho’.

You might have noticed that I didn’t use blush. I haven’t been using blush this summer ’cause I want to stick to the natural, tan, bronzy color palette.

So, there you are. My natural look.

My apologies. I still look like I’m dying.
