My first errand for the day is to look where I can buy a pressure cooker.

I finally caved in and decided to buy one. I have never, ever used a pressure cooker in my life. Ever since I started to learn how to cook I have always been into slow cooking. A crockpot is my tool of choice at any given time. When I cook I need to have time. You cannot tell me to cook something in a hurry (even my kids know this). If I don’t have time I’d rather not cook at all. Even a simple dish like Adobo, I slow cook it.

Mom always tells me to use pressure cooker but I always say no. I thought it will change the taste of what I’m cooking. And she would go on convincing me to get one everytime I complain that I don’t have enough time.

Recently I found myself always running out of time and I opt to order in Polo Club if I need food asap. The Last Chukker in Manila Polo Club became an extension of our kitchen. My meat has piled up in the freezer since the holidays. And I need to cook them already because, freezer burn?

So, last week I toyed with the idea of getting a pressure cooker (finally). I asked my friends in our chat group this weekend and they all told me to get one. They gave me tips on how to preserve the taste of the meat while using a pressure cooker.

So, that’s the first thing on my list. Second on my list is have lunch in Korea Garden. I’ve been craving for Korean food since Friday. But I got busy attending to Vito and I couldn’t find time.

I don’t have appetite tho’ because I have been drinking DayQuil for my colds.

But still, Korea Garden it is for lunch today.

OOTD

p.s. my Fendi Peek a Boo bag is one of the gifts I gave myself this Christmas 🙂
